Do you want to see a new Prenton station on Woodchurch Road?

40 years ago, Oxton councillors wanted to see the Bidston - Wrexham line electrified, with a new station on Woodchurch Road. Since then, buses go from Woodchurch Road to Liverpool. Glenavon JFC use the site planned for he station for some of their football teams. Now the idea of a station has been brought back - with hybrid trains running directly through to Liverpool.
