Phil Waterfield - Pensby & Thingwall 2022

March 28, 2022 10:49 PM

Phil recently retired as senior scientist from Unilever R&D Port Sunlight, but continues to work part-time as a scientific consultant with several international investment companies. He has lived in Heswall with his wife and children since 1993.

Since retiring, Phil has been working as a regular volunteer with Wirral Age UK, delivering shopping and providing hospital transport duties to vulnerable people across Wirral. This was especially valued during the last two years of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Phil has also done volunteer work for the Wirral Libraries, helping out as a weekly IT advisor in the library.

Phil has interests in local wildlife and photography, and is an active member of the RSPB at Burton Mere, and contributing to local online photographic forums.
